I’m Portia Yip (she/her)—business coach, copywriter, creative mentor, artist and purposeful entrepreneur.
I’ll choose to walk the unpaved path any day just to see where it goes.
Some of my superpowers are… being a natural listener with an empathetic ear, crafting intentional words that resonate, and being an organized creative with a thing for systems and processes.

And when I’m not creating or travelling, I’m usually based in Victoria, BC (on the traditional territory of the lək̓ʷəŋən People—known today as the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations).

Credentials
Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and Journalism. Started freelance writing in 2013. Worked full-time at a non-profit for five years. Certified as a Life & Business Coach.
Notables
When I was 11, I wrote and illustrated a book on how beavers got flat tales. I’ve directed and written two short films (Demitasse and Citizens #IRL). I sold my first painting three months after taking up abstract art.
